    Photograph the papers

    Open the Potato Assist app on your phone and take photos of the farmer's Aadhaar, bank passbook, khatauni and cold storage receipts. Several papers in one photo is fine.

    AI reads them

    The server reads names, Aadhaar, bank details, khasra numbers, lot numbers, quantities and dates. It cuts each paper out of the photo and makes the PDFs the portal asks for. You can fix anything on the phone.

    The extension fills the form

    On your computer, open the portal in Chrome, pick the farmer in our extension, and it fills the registration and application forms and attaches the files. You check it and press Submit.

What it does not do

  • It never presses Submit, never ticks the consent box and never does the OTP. You do those.
  • It does not check if a farmer is eligible, and cannot promise the subsidy is approved.
  • AI can misread a blurred photo. Always check the form before you submit.
  • The extension needs Chrome on a laptop or desktop. The phone app is for photos and checking.
  • It is not a government service. If the portal changes, filling may stop working for a while until we update it.

What do I need to use it?

A phone with a camera, a laptop or desktop with Google Chrome, and the farmer's papers. The farmer's mobile must be with you for the portal's OTP.

Does it submit the application for me?

No. It fills the fields and attaches the files. You read the form, tick the consent box, do the OTP and press Submit yourself. This is on purpose: the person filing is responsible for what is sent.

What counts as one farmer?

One farmer in your list. You pay once, when you add that farmer's first photo. After that, more photos (up to 30), re-reads, edits and form fills for the same farmer are free. Deleting a farmer does not give the money back.

What if the AI reads something wrong?

You can correct any field on the phone, and you see the filled form on the portal before submitting. A clear, straight photo in good light reads best.

Is the farmer's data safe?

Papers are used only to fill that farmer's own application. Only your account can see your farmers. Saved portal passwords are encrypted. You can delete a farmer at any time, and ask us to delete your account. Read the privacy policy.

Get the farmer's permission before you photograph their papers.

How do I pay?

Recharge your wallet from your account page with UPI, card or net banking (through Razorpay). Each new farmer takes the price from the wallet. You can see every recharge and charge in your account.

Is this a government website?

No. Potato Assist is a private tool that helps you fill the form on the official portal, potato.uphorticulture.in. The application is made on that portal by you.
